I am a huge fan of Christina's work. I was heartbroken when she was murdered. I regularly go back to her music and weep. I don't come to her page anymore but I wouldn't want it to be shut down. It serves as a bizarre little shrine to her in some way. I know not everyone will see it that way but I feel like this site gives her a little light that allows her beauty to continue to shine.

Yes, so was Nicole Brown Simpson, but she also has an active gallery. One created years after she was murdered. Besides, does it really matter how she died? "She doesn't deserve to be here because someone killed her"? That seems quite unfair. One can indeed argue it's disrespectful, but then again one can say the same about a celebrity that died from natural causes as well. I personally don't think there's anything disrespectful or wrong in appreciating beauty, and she had loads of that. If there's a new policy to close the galleries of dead celebrities then sure, go ahead. I however don't think galleries like this one should be treated any different than the rest.

Here’s the deal for me... if this were a site that allowed vulgar comments, then having galleries of the deceased would be in poor taste. But since we curate comments, and don’t allow vulgar and distasteful comments, having galleries for deceased women is fine for me.

Is it disrespect that we have galleries for Marilyn Monroe, Natalie Wood, Ava Gardner,Betty Page? What these galleries are about is reverence. And that is what this page, her killer tried to snuff out everything about Christina Grimmie, her talent, her beauty, her effervescent personality, why should we finish his job? Of course, don't have sexual fantasies about her, but for many of us these galleries are about more than just the sexual (after all adult content is banned), they are about a record of beauty. By those standards this girl who was beautiful both inside and out deserves to be here.

If we begin to remove celebrities when they are deceased there would be about 40% less galleries here, the sex symbols of the past Marilyn Monroe (suicide), Natalie Wood (drowning/ murder?)and so many others would be gone. Christina Grimmie was an effervescent, talented young woman full of life. Why don't you want her to be celebrated? Why do you want her to be forgotten? Remember this is not a porn site but is a site honoring the beauty of celebrities.

All joking aside, if we start removing galleries because someone was killed by someone else, how long will it be before someone says we should also remove the galleries of women who committed suicide? Someone could say something like, "She was tormented, so we should leave her in peace." And then we can start removing galleries of people who accidentally overdosed on drugs or drank themselves to death and likewise say, "They were troubled. We should leave them in peace." Everyone dies. The disturbing way this poor girl died may make it impossible or unpleasant for you to fantasize about her. If so, the solution is simple: Don't try to fantasize about her. And if you're troubled about her having a gallery here, avoid this gallery.

While I can't agree with killing the page, I can agree about living and letting die. It wasn't until I saw the comments that I figured that she was dead and refrained from seeing the gallery as a whole. If you were a true fan, you're welcome to remember and cherish her, but please always keep certain morality in check.

That's how I feel about it. If you admired the person, their life & talents, when they were living, what's the harm in leaving an RIP here, or anywhere else?

Also, though some disagree, I see no harm in us old guys reminiscing about the classic beauties of our past and our youth who are past the grass now, like Ingrid Bergman, Audrey Hepburn, Bette Davis, Katharine Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor, Judy Garland, Grace Kelly, Vivien Leigh, Marilyn Monroe, Farrah Fawcett, and a host of others.

And a hearty 'Requiescat In Pace' to them all.
