I think deep down she always would have preferred to go barefoot, but was initially a little self conscious about it, especially as she likes to have her feet on the table most of the time. Then (possibly influenced by the positive response ladies like Ellie and Scarlett got from being habitually barefoot without a care) a couple of years ago she announced in Twitter that in the upcoming episode she was not wearing socks for the first time. This was clearly an attempt to spark interest, so I think it was a kind of 'coming out' if you like and being confident to do so. It was initially a one-off (it was the Election Special), and she was back to socks the following episode, but after the positive responses she starting not wearing them less to the point where she kept them off indefinitely. Add to that, she has also returned from a long stay in Australia which is a culturally barefoot country so that has probably added to her embracing it. I think they'll be staying off for the most part now, and fetishes aside she looks much better without them (and she knows it) as she has very exotic looks and socks don't go well with such looks, they're just excess baggage!

2021-03-21 18:53:24 I actually completely agree with you and couldn’t put it better myself and if you look on her Instagram posts there’s usually people who compliment her feet so she can’t be getting creeped out as she’s continued being barefooted, I remember the first time seeing her soles on the election special, was heavenly 😂 she’s got 10/10 soles for me

2020-10-17 07:09:20 Definitely, she went from a compulsive sock wearer to a permanently barefoot girl. She even announced on Twitter that she was not going to be wearing socks! That was a one off (at the time), but they've stayed bare ever since she resumed the no-socks look. Going barefoot in Australia is also culturally common, so that's helped us too!
