my wife, kids and friends are quite aware of my appreciation. In fact, my wife keeps hers done..various colors, clear, even sans polish. I'm pretty lucky there. She doesn't even give me a hard time for looking at a nice set as they strut by. I'm just not disrespectful when I do it.

The term "Foot Fetish(-ist)" is frequently used in a very derogatory way in popular media like TV shows and Internet, as well as in the general public. I could give *dozens* of examples, and have pointed out a few here, like the way Tanner P. was skewered on the Jillian Harris season of 'The Bachelorette.' See her page here for details... and while there, enjoy her hot little feet! Who could *blame* Tanner P.?

I cannot tell you how much persecution & revulsion I've encountered in my own life for even saying to another guy, in private, some innocuous comment like, "...and her feet are really cute too." This on the heels of graphic, gross banter about every *other* part of her body, but feet are verboten!

Yup I totally agree and have always referred to myself as having a foot fetish because I love beautiful toes!! That being said ugly feet on a beautiful woman wouldn't stop me from pursuing her.

The term 'foot fetish' doesn't bother me because as I said it is usually used synonymously with 'foot lover' or 'foot appreciation,' same as when a woman has a 'shoe fetish' often by her own admission, and yes, I've often heard the term 'breast fetish.' I'm sure in none of these cases is it meant in the clinical psychology sense of 'not able to get aroused without the fetish object.'
While I have your attention, point of clarification... my "Get a room or take it to FetLife" comment wasn't directed at you, if it may have appeared that way. It was merely a joke directed at Paula and her 'ponyboy' there-->

Thanks for the update and the straight talk. I agree with you I really get annoyed when appreciating feet is synonymous with "fetish" Some ppl are really turned on by derrières or breasts but I have never that called a fetish. It is baffling. I reckon appreciating feet is befuddling to those who either don't notice feet or even despise them. Liking feet is not a crime and it is not weird, it is enigmatic.
Lastly, I am grateful for this site. So nice to be able to find a virtual library of feet of many sizes, shapes and hues.

3) Not according to , who posted in Guild Chat a couple days ago that this is *not* a 'fetish site' but rather a 'foot admiration site,' and he cited the 'strict' APA/DSM-IV/V definition of 'fetish' ("one who cannot get aroused without the fetish object"). I'm with you, I use the term 'fetish' in the broader, looser sense, as most of the general public does
4) Don't recall, probably saw ads on other similar 'kinky' sites and/or heard members talking about it on other boards; some of us here who will admit it are members over there also

3. This is considered a fetish site by some. Big deal, the word fetish sometimes has a negative connotation, but I don't subscribe to that.
