2018-02-26 17:20:47 Adolph didn't invent it, he stole it and corrupted it. It's an ancient Indian symbol from Hinduism (and she is Indian) /> |

2017-12-20 22:34:15 Where she comes from "Swastika" isn't a NAZI symbol it is a symbol of religious importance and swastika is derived from the Sanskrit root swasti which is composed of su, meaning "good, well", and asti meaning "it is, there is" :)
|
2017-12-20 23:33:31 That's an awesome name.

2015-01-25 16:35:48 OH G74 HOW I wish:)
|
2014-04-15 18:50:44 OK, *somebody's* gotta do it... the obligatory 'corrected by a know-it-all' post. The swastika was an ancient symbol used in by Native Americans, and even further in ancient occultism and magick, and was a 'good luck' symbol. It was only after Hitler (who was steeped in the occult) used it as the symbol for the Nazi movement that it became associated with his brand of 'evil.' /> |
2014-09-04 17:22:06 Very amusing how American documentations focus on Hitler's alleged weakness for occultism. Only Himmler was fascinated by such stuff and integrated it into his SS initiation rituals. Hitler picked the Hakenkreuz as a symbol because it represents knighthood and strength. Medieval crusaders carried it into the field on the great crusades in which "German" knights played a leading role.
Oh, the feet of this woman called Swastika are doing nothing for me. |
2014-09-04 17:30:02 Historical accounts vary, but one thing is clear... as said, it's an *ancient* symbol.
|
2014-09-04 17:06:33 The swastika is a revered symbol of Hinduism since 2000 B.C. It still forms an important part of all Hindu religious occasions. Its extremely unfortunate that some lunatic called hitler wanted to use it for his brand of evil.
